CAD Converters enable the input of many different CAD platforms into a VCM (Virtual Construction Model). CAD Converters support multiple industry-leading 3D CAD platforms used in the design of industrial projects. CAD Converters utilize published outputs from the native CAD platforms and transforms the data into a vendor-neutral representation contained in a VCM.

The CAD conversion process converts CAD data and graphics into a ConstructSim Planner i-model. There are several types of CAD Processing.
